Award-winning production company Alkemy X has added director Johnny Andow to their roster for US commercial representation. Originally from Las Vegas, the filmmaker is known for his enthusiasm and visual ambition. His work often blends dynamic movement and bold imagery with authentic storytelling. A lifelong student of the human condition and the world at large, Johnny voraciously consumes the nuanced moments that occur within the every day, translating his appreciation for the morning chirps outside his window and the way the light hits a blossoming tree into work for top brands including Under Armour and GORE-TEX.

Johnny’s passion for the camera began at a young age with the desire to capture the world in front of him. Johnny has directed and produced a diverse range of films and commercials. His commercial work blends anthemic visuals with emotive storytelling in spots for a wide range of brands. He is currently in development on a range of personal creative endeavors, including a feature film that celebrates his own mother’s journey as a professional boxer in a time where women weren’t taken seriously in the sport. When he is not directing, he explores the world through photography and spends time perfecting his pandemic hobby of card magic.
